Splunk Monitoring Application for Boomi is an out-of-the-box application that you can install on your Splunk instance to gain deeper insights into your Boomi environments by pulling transactional and operational data regarding the AtomSphere API’s to Splunk for the purpose of searching, monitoring, correlating, reporting, alerting, troubleshooting and end-to-end monitoring.

Along with the Boomi solutions, we also provide the documentation as a guide to set up the add-on and app in Splunk. With the help of this guide, a Splunk admin should be able to configure the Boomi Monitoring App and Add-On and share the app with Splunk users with the right privilege.

Long term analytics on the traffic

Keep your logs as long as you want in Splunk. You are no longer limited by 30-90 days restrictions of the Boomi Platform. This way, you are able to make trend analyses of the data traffic in your organization.

Centralized monitoring for multiple Boomi accounts

In the Boomi solution of Splunk, we have the possibility to filter on any number of accounts of Boomi since Boomi is a multi tenant architecture to get insight into the runtime messages as well as master data information of Boomi.

Audit Logs

An overview of audit can be analyzed as to what action was performed along with the message what was changed/updated/deleted etc from the application. Actions like edit, add, delete, update, execute, download, login, logout etc is captured.

Visibility into the processes in Boomi

Boomi process usage gives users visibility into the total number of processes, number of processes which ran in last 30 days, number of processes which did not ran in last 30 days, number of processes which was just created in Boomi but never ran so that a decision can be made based on top of this information.

Alerting over anomalies.

Alerts will be triggered within the Splunk platform for the failed messages from both general mode as well as low latency.
